By 2025, over 50% of the 1000 of the Fortune will publicly declare that a Freedom Year is not only accepted, but expected for their employees.  Employees will plan their Freedom Year in their career path just as they plan for a graduate degree or an overseas assignment.

    I totally agree 100% – you need to travel to learn more in life and about yourself! I worked in Ireland for 10 years and all of a sudden I had an urge to travel! I packed up and left and headed to Asia 3 years ago – I have not left since!

    I read your article many months ago whilst I was sitting at my desk in work still in Singapore working as a Senior Manager for PwC (I even sent the link to many friends and said – I want to set up my own business – this is it now – I am going to do it)!

    That said, I’m now launching a new Tour Company in Chiang Mai and would love to feature you as my motivators after reading your blogs!

    And since my Tour company is all about attracting more young travellers to get up and travel exotics places like Chiang Mai, your blog is truly a perfect match.
